Jewellery Care Guide

Please follow the tips below, to make sure they you are properly cleaning and caring for your precious jewellery pieces for long-lasting wear. 

Please note that our jewellery is made from natural and delicate materials and should always be worn with care. Nostalgia Girls is not responsible for the care of your jewellery items after you have received them.

Caring for your Jewellery: Due to the delicate nature of your new jewellery pieces, it is essential that you care for them correctly. Avoid any direct contact with water, perfumes, lotions and other cosmetics when wearing your jewellery. Don’t forget to remove your jewellery before going to bed, showering, going to the beach or chlorinated swimming pools. Sleeping in your jewellery, for example, will cause stress, tugging and damage to the nacre of the pearls, chains, and beads.

Cleaning your Jewellery: To preserve your gold filled jewellery, make sure to clean your jewellery pieces with a soft cloth after each wear. Gently wipe each after each use. Ensure that they remain free of any harmful chemicals, or daily damages that may impact the nacre of the pearls, layer of gold, and the shine of the glass beads.

Storing your Jewellery: Due to the delicate nature of the pearls and handmade nature of our beads take care to store each piece in it’s provided pouch when not worn. Make sure to pack each individual jewellery piece with care to avoid tangling, scratching and breakage.

 

Ceramic Care Guide

Please follow the tips below, to make sure that you are properly caring for your cute ceramic piece. 

Please note that our ceramics are completely designed, hand built and hand painted by us. Nostalgia Girls is not responsible for the care of your ceramic items after you have received them.

Cleaning your Ceramic: To preserve your ceramic piece, we recommend to hand washing your piece to keep it in squeaky clean condition. We don't recommend dishwashing your ceramic as it can increase the general wear and ageing of the mug. Do not put any mugs in the dishwasher that have anything glued on, gold lustres or any transfers.

Caring for your Ceramics: All our ceramics are food safe unless suggested otherwise. We do not recommend microwaving your ceramic especially if they have gold lustre. Each piece is high fired at over 1000 degrees celsius and are quite sturdy making them perfect for warm and cool drinks. Each piece is one of a kind and unique just for you.
